Next year's Six Nations Championship will feature a Friday night fixture for the first time.

Organisers claim the change is being made following the success of Friday evening games in the Rugby World Cup

The Championship will kick-off at Twickenham on Saturday February 7th with England playing Italy, and conclude in Cardiff with Ireland facing current champions Wales on Saturday 21st March.

The sole Friday game will see France play Wales on the evening of February 28th at the Stade de France.
